With a USB card reader, you can directly download driver card data to your phone. This is the simplest and fastest way to record card data.
Required equipment
- USB card reader - compatible chip card reader
- USB OTG cable or adapter - to connect the phone and the reader
- Driver card - the tachograph driver card you wish to read
Card reading steps
- Connect the USB card reader to your phone (via OTG cable or adapter)
- Insert the driver card into the reader (chip facing up)
- The application automatically detects the reader and the card
- Grant USB device access if prompted by the system
- Wait until the reading is complete (this may take 1-2 minutes)
- Once reading is finished, the data is automatically processed
Automatic upload
With an active subscription, card data is automatically uploaded to the server after reading is complete, if an internet connection is available.
Important information
- During reading, do not remove the card or disconnect the reader
- Make sure your phone battery has sufficient charge
- Card data is saved in .ddd format
- The application displays the date and time of the last reading
Important
Not all phones support the USB OTG function. Check whether your phone is compatible with the USB card reader.
