1 The first pairing

The first colleague pairs a phone with the VDO tachograph via BLE using their own driver card and a company card. The pairing is left stored in the tachograph.

2 The next driver gets stuck

The next driver tries to pair their own phone using their own driver card. Pairing fails. According to the reported experience, the tachograph does not explain that a pairing already exists with another driver's phone.

3 Another card does not help

The second driver also tries a different company card, but pairing still fails. This card belongs to the same company as the card used by the first colleague, but it is a different physical card.

4 The first colleague returns

The first colleague returns and inserts their own driver card and the company card used originally. According to the account, the tachograph immediately displays the pairing associated with that colleague's phone. In the photographs, the device is named “iPhone”.

5 Only the BLE pairing is deleted

The first colleague deletes only the BLE pairing associated with their phone on the VDO tachograph side, using the device menu. The company is not logged out. The photographs show the “iPhone” entry being managed, followed by the label “eltávol.”, which relates to removal of the BLE pairing.

6 It works now

After the previous pairing is deleted, the second driver can immediately pair their phone using their own driver card or a company card. Communication between the tachograph and the phone works correctly.

Observed problem: while the previous pairing remains stored, the new pairing fails and the driver receives no clear explanation of the obstacle or the action required. Deleting the old pairing resolves the reported problem.
