Vehicle Type Selection

After registration, you first need to select your vehicle type. This setting determines which regulations the application uses to check driving and rest times.

Available vehicle types

Truck

Vehicles used for goods transport. EU Regulation 561/2006 rules apply.

Bus

Vehicles used for passenger transport. Special rules apply for regular, occasional, and single occasional services.

Why is vehicle type important?

The vehicle type selection affects the following areas:

• Driving and rest time rules are applied differently
• Infringement checks are performed based on the appropriate regulation
• Additional settings are available for buses (e.g. service type)
• Reports are generated according to the selected type
