Web portal sign-in
The TachoData web portal gives you access to your TachoData account from any computer — Mac, Windows or Linux — through a web browser, without needing the mobile app.
Where to find it
On the main page header, the Login button is in the top-right corner, next to the language switcher. The direct URL is tachodata.eu/portal/login. On mobile, the link sits at the bottom of the hamburger menu.
Three sign-in methods
The portal uses the same account as the TachoData mobile app. Choose the method you originally registered with:
- Sign in with Google — if you registered with a Google account in the mobile app.
- Sign in with Apple — if you registered with your Apple ID in the mobile app.
- Email + password — if you registered with a traditional email/password pair.
No registration on the web
New TachoData accounts can only be created in the mobile app (Google Play or App Store). The web portal is exclusively for signing in to existing accounts. If you don't have an account yet, download the app first and register there.
Security
After sign-in your browser receives a server-side session cookie. The TachoData authentication token never reaches the browser — it stays on the server, protected against XSS attacks. The session expires after 2 hours of inactivity.
If you forget your password and you registered with Google or Apple, simply use that sign-in method instead. Classic password recovery is available in the mobile app.
